Advanced K-4 includes all of Regular K-4 plus more exposure to pre-literacy concepts through the use of reading/phonics, math manipulatives to promote higher order thinking skills and fine motor development.

The Advanced K-4 Program is a good option for the following children:

Those children whose 5th birthday falls in the months just following the Sept. 1st cutoff, and who are ready for a more academically challenging program.​
​
Those children whose birthdays are before the Sept. 1st cutoff, but are not quite ready for a full-day Kindergarten program.
